A studio built for launch day
EPTA is the media and distribution team for startup builders and backers. One team makes the film and runs the distribution behind it, against a date that does not move.
How EPTA started
EPTA exists because of a job that never happened. A client came to me for a film that needed animation, so I handed it to Filippo, who animated. That project fell through. The working relationship did not, and we decided to run the studio together instead.
EPTA had started in 2020 as a small agency making black and white animation for large Instagram accounts: 0x100x, Aura Health and others like them. Short, graphic, built to be understood in a feed at a glance by someone who was not looking for it. Everything we make now is still made against that test.
Before launches I was making podcasts for venture funds, which is how I ended up inside the tech and VC world rather than adjacent to it. I read the feed every day, in the replies, watching what actually travelled and what did not.
By the third quarter of 2025 the launch video had settled into one shape: a SaaS product tour, narrated, feature by feature. Companies announcing hardware, a new class of computing or a market that did not exist yet were being handed the same template, and it was describing a product accurately to an audience that was never going to watch long enough to hear it. That was the gap. We moved the studio onto launches, and launches are all we have done since.

2020
Black and white animation for large Instagram accounts.
Before launches
Podcasts for venture funds, which put us inside the tech and VC world.
Q3 2025
Launch films for companies the SaaS template did not fit.
Today
Launch films and the distribution behind them, nothing else.
What we make
Launch films
Product launches, funding announcements and the films that carry a company out of stealth. Built to be understood without sound, in a feed, by someone who has never heard of you.
Category campaigns
When the product does not fit an existing category, one film is rarely enough. The argument gets built across several pieces and run in sequence.
Distribution
The launch post, the thread, the creator wave and the week after. We brief the roster, run the wave on the day and report what it actually did.
The core team
Six people across three time zones. Whoever you speak to on the call is the person doing the work on your launch.
Who we work with
Founders announcing a new class of computing hardware, a prediction market, a satellite constellation, an AI model and the funds backing them. The work is in the archive, with the numbers each launch did.
