These terms

These terms govern your use of epta.co. EPTA is a media and distribution studio making launch films and running the distribution behind them. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

The site is information, not an offer

Everything here describes work we have done and work we do. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, or a commitment to take on a project. Booking a call does not create an engagement, and neither does an exchange of emails about scope.

Work begins when both sides sign a written agreement or a statement of work covering scope, deliverables, dates, fees and rights. That document governs the engagement. Where anything on this site differs from it, the signed document wins.

Numbers, case studies and results

The figures on this site come from the platforms the work was published on, read from the posts themselves, and where a case study prints a count it also prints the date it was read. Counts on live posts keep moving after that date. Where a client supplied a figure from their own analytics, the page says so.

Those numbers describe what specific launches did. They are not a forecast and they are not a promise. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee that a future launch will reach a particular audience, view count or commercial outcome, because that depends on the product, the timing, the market and platforms whose behaviour is outside anyone's control.

Our work and our marks

The films, the writing, the diagrams, the design and the code on this site belong to EPTA or to the clients who commissioned the work, and they are protected by copyright and related rights. You may link to this site and quote a short passage with attribution. You may not copy, republish, resell, re-upload or adapt our films or this site's content, in whole or in part, or use any of it to train a model, without written permission.

Client names, logos and trade marks appear here with the client's permission and remain theirs. Nothing on this site grants you a right to use them.

What you send us

When you send us a brief, a file, footage, a logo, a link or an application, you confirm that you are entitled to share it and that our using it for the purpose you sent it for will not infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of what you send.

Please do not send us confidential material you are not ready to share, and please do not send unsolicited creative ideas expecting compensation. We work on a lot of launches in the same categories, and we cannot accept an obligation over an idea that arrives unasked.

Acceptable use

• Do not interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or try to get access to anything that is not public.
• Do not scrape the site or its media at scale, including for model training datasets.
• Do not use the site to impersonate EPTA, our clients or anyone on our team.
• Do not use anything here in a way that breaks the law or another party's rights.

Other people's platforms

This site links out to X, LinkedIn, client websites, a booking tool and video hosts. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We have no control over them and we are not responsible for what they do or for what a third party publishes there.

Availability

We keep this site up and accurate as best we can, and we may change, move or remove anything on it at any time. It is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, including any implied warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, EPTA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of this site. Our total liability in connection with this site is limited to one hundred euros, and liability for an engagement is governed by the agreement covering that engagement rather than by this page.

Your responsibility to us

If we suffer a claim, loss or cost because you used this site in breach of these terms, or because material you sent us infringed someone's rights, you will cover it.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the law of the country in which EPTA has its principal place of business, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes a consumer protection you have under the law of the country you live in.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one in force, and the date at the top says when it changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
